Ahh! As usual, your work is stupendous. Your perspective technique is getting to be especially impressive, and boy did you put it to good work in this piece! The palette really sets the mood well, with a good balance of warm versus cool colours-- I particularly like the lit candle, the vase, and the golden sigils on his lapel and sword-hilt. I honestly suspect that this man was not (or maybe *is* not) quite as quiet as he seems...
I was sad that you weren't at GenCon! Is there another way I could get a 13x19 (or is it 14x20?) print of Leliel from you? She's waaaay too pretty. Thanks, and fantastic work!
This is great I love the way every thing seems so real. I can't hope but to put a small story to the image .With him looking at the whine glass with that look of "uh never thought I would be here" and then theirs the dagger in his hand and with him holding it as if he would be somewhat uncomfortable with out it ,and then the sword that looks like a grand weapon of lords and kings.I wounder that at some time ago he lived in the slums become an assassin and some way ended up a noble.
I remember you working on this via livestream. (I think I saw it after the fact actually.) It's beautiful. I love the lighting and atmosphere. All those details must have been time consuming! Lovely piece.
